2009.06.02 Kiyosumi garden at Koto-ku

Kiyosumi Teien(清澄庭園) is a Japanese style garden which is famous for various kind of stones. In edo period(1603~1867), here was said to be a marchant's house. After that, in the late 19th century, it was aquired by IWASAKI Yataro, the founderof the Mitsubishi conglomerate, and remade into the beutiful garden. He liked stones, so various stones all over Japan were carried to the garden by his business vessels.

I like the contrast of the sky with the tree's arms which enjoys the air of fine day!
