Misoshiru(味噌汁), or Miso soup is not a high class food but a popular home made menu in Japan for a long, long time. It is the soup that usually fish based soup with miso paste(fermented soy bean paste), and various ingredients as Tofu(bean curd), vegetables, and so on.
This is a menu of the restaurant "Shirukou志る幸" in Kyoto, which serves various special Misoshiru(味噌汁). Japanese traditional dishes are like orchestra. I mean, each dish has own character and they create a harmony in total. Misoshiru(味噌汁) shows its fine taste and effectiveness especially when you enjoy all dishes including rice altoghether.
